Senior BJP leader and former Punjab minister Rana Gurmeet Singh Sodhi has expressed deep grief over the sudden death of former Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, who lost his life in the tragic Air India plane crash.
Rana Sodhi paid an emotional tribute, saying that working with Rupani in the BJP was both a proud and learning experience. He called the leader’s death an irreparable loss to the party and said the shock of such a senior leader dying in an air crash is difficult to put into words.
He fondly remembered that Rupani had once visited his home in Ferozepur, and they had met just a few days ago. Sodhi also praised Rupani’s contribution to strengthening the BJP’s presence in Punjab.
Offering prayers for eternal peace to Rupani’s soul, Rana Sodhi extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and the entire BJP family, hoping they find the strength to cope with this tragic loss.
