India Adopts Tougher Stance Against Pakistan After Operation Sindoor

India has decided to respond more strongly to any action from Pakistan, especially after the recent Operation Sindoor, according to government sources.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi told the armed forces that if Pakistan fires bullets, India will answer with artillery. “If they shoot, we will respond with bigger firepower,” he said.

Sources also said Operation Sindoor is not over yet, and this marks a new way India will handle cross-border terrorism. Pakistan will have to pay a bigger price if it continues to support terrorism, and India will not support cooperation in other areas while terrorism continues.

India has also made it clear that it will not accept any outside help or talks on the Kashmir issue. The only topic India is ready to discuss is Pakistan giving back the land it has occupied illegally.

Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri said that both countries have now agreed to stop all military actions on land, air, and sea. This came after four days of drone and missile attacks. The US helped mediate the ceasefire, with President Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio announcing the agreement.

India has also said that as long as Pakistan supports terrorism, the Indus Waters Treaty will be put on hold. Talks with Pakistan will now only happen between the military leaders, known as the Director Generals of Military Operations (DGMOs).

Sources confirmed that after India’s May 7 strikes on terror camps, every Pakistani action was met with a strong response. It was Pakistan’s DGMO who contacted India on May 10 to calm the situation.
