Ex-Soldier Shoots Wife and Mother-in-Law Dead, Then Shoots Himself.

A former soldier shot and killed his wife and mother-in-law in Khuthi village, which is within the jurisdiction of the Dorangla police station, around three in the morning. Bir Singh killed himself during this period by shooting himself in the head with an AK-47 rifle. According to the SSP, Bir Singh and his wife had been at odds for a while, and the case was in court. Akwinder Kaur, Bir Singh’s wife, had been residing in Khuthi village with her mother for a long time. The provenance of the AK-47 rifle he had is being investigated.
