Display of Weapons on RSS Foundation Day in Ludhiana: No Route March This Time, Events at 18 Places, 5-Point Agenda Released.
In celebration of its 100th Foundation Day, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is hosting festivities at 18 places throughout Ludhiana. During this event, a weapons demonstration is being conducted. The Swayamsevaks (volunteers) taking part in the foundation ceremony are displaying a great deal of passion. In its centenary year, the RSS has published a five-point plan to advance society.

In the centenary year, the RSS has urged its volunteers to further its five-point agenda. This year, the RSS will focus on five principles: civic duty, environmental protection, social harmony, sense of self (Swabhoomi), and Parivar Prabodhan (family enlightenment/awareness).
This year, we’ll focus on these five principles. According to Kanheya Pratap, the Sangh’s Vibhag Pracharak (Department Propagator), all nation-building initiatives this year would be founded on these five guiding principles. According to him, the family must come first if the nation is to advance.
Programs in the District of Ludhiana at 44 Locations
In celebration of its 100th Foundation Day, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is holding events at 44 places throughout Ludhiana. Of these, eighteen venues are hosting events today. Additional events are planned on October 5 and October 12. The RSS is not hosting a route march program in the major cities this year in honor of its 100th Foundation Day.

The Sangh views Ludhiana District as being divided into five zones.
Speaking about the Sangh’s centenary celebrations, Dalbir Nanda, the Karyavahak (Executive) of the RSS’s Ludhiana Vibhag, clarified that the Sangh’s Ludhiana district has been split into five sections. From the standpoint of the Sangh, these comprise the following districts: Focal Point, the Chandigarh Road area (known as the Vishwakarma District), the old city (known as the Shaheed Sukhdev District), the area across the Khanna District railway line, and Jagraon District. Collectively, these districts are referred to as the Ludhiana Vibhag.
