The popular TV show Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain, produced by Sanjay and Binaiferr Kohli’s Edit II, is being adapted into a movie! While the release date is yet to be announced, the original cast from the show will reprise their roles in the film. Shubhangi Atre, who plays the beloved Angoori bhabhi, will continue her role on the big screen.
This will mark Shubhangi’s Bollywood debut, and she shared her excitement and nerves about the transition. “I am an actor and an artiste, and no matter what the medium is—whether it’s TV, films, OTT, or theatre—I believe in giving my 100 percent with full dedication and discipline,” she said. “Of course, Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain is now being made into a film, so the work is quite similar to what we do on television. But still, there is a different kind of nervousness and excitement.”
