Cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal recently addressed rumours about his alleged relationship with RJ and influencer Mahvash during his appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Show on Netflix.
Chahal was joined by fellow cricketers Rishabh Pant, Gautam Gambhir, and Abhishek Sharma in the episode. When host Kapil Sharma brought up the mystery woman seen frequently with Chahal, the leg-spinner coyly replied, “India jaan chukka hai (India already knows),” sparking laughter among the audience.
Adding to the banter, Rishabh Pant cheekily remarked, “Free hai na ab thode se yeh,” referring to Chahal’s recent divorce from choreographer and influencer Dhanashree Verma, which was officially finalized on March 20, 2025.
Comedian Krushna Abhishek, dressed as a woman for a comic segment, playfully nicknamed Chahal “Juicy Chahal” and teased him about his Instagram posts with Mahvash, hinting at their growing closeness. “Darrte toh nahi zyada (You don’t seem too scared),” Krushna joked, alluding to their public appearances together.
Kiku Sharda joined the fun by pretending to discover a lipstick mark on Chahal’s shirt and asked, “Yeh kya chal raha hai? Poora India jaanna chahta hai (What’s going on? The whole country wants to know),” to which Chahal once again responded with a smile, “India jaan chukka hai.”
Rumours linking Chahal and RJ Mahvash have been making rounds since last year. The two have often been seen together at events, dinners, vacations, and even featured in a recent advertisement. Mahvash has also been spotted cheering for Chahal during IPL matches, including while he was recovering from an injury.
While both have consistently stated they are “just friends,” fans and media continue to speculate that there may be more to the story.
