Youth from Amritsar Arrested in Himachal: Molested College Girl; Slit Her Throat with a Knife After She Objected, Girl in Critical Condition.
A college student in Chamba city, Himachal Pradesh, was fatally stabbed on Saturday by a young Amritsar resident. The accused young person was taken into custody by the police from the crime scene right away. According to reports, the injured teenager is a college student who lives in the Hardaspura neighbourhood. She was allegedly being harassed by the accused young person.
The offender has been identified as Arjunveer Singh, son of Amritsar resident Balwinder Singh, based on the information provided. started to bother her. When this happened, the young woman protested and said she would complain to the women’s police station. The accused used a sharp weapon to strike the young woman as she began to go towards the police station.
Wound on the neck, 7 cm long
When the student got close to the Baragah Women’s Police Station, the accused materialised out of nowhere and stabbed her. This attack caused the young woman’s neck to sustain severe injuries. Her health is still critical because of a wound on her throat that is 7 cm long and 2.5 cm deep, according to the doctors. However, with the assistance of those in the vicinity, the student was able to avoid the accused’s grasp and salvage her life throughout the incident.
The accused was taken into custody by the police.
The Sadar Police Station police squad, which included SHO Surendra Kumar, arrived at the scene after getting information and took the accused into custody. The injured young woman is currently receiving care at the Medical College in Chamba, where she was admitted. After recording the victim’s statement, the police have opened an investigation and filed a case against the accused.
