War Against Drugs: Police Administration Demolishes Illegal Construction Built by Drug Smuggler with a Bulldozer in Kotla Fazal
SSP Shubham Agarwal Leads the Campaign, Reiterates Commitment to Continuing Strict Action Against Drug Smugglers

In accordance with Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann’s strict directives, the District Police and Administration today worked together to use a bulldozer to destroy an illegal structure constructed by a drug smuggler in Kotla Fazal village of Bassi Pathana as part of the state’s ongoing “War Against Drugs” campaign.
SSP Mr Shubham Agarwal led the campaign; other participants were SP D Rakesh Kumar Yadav, DSP Raj Kumar Sharma, Station Head Officer Jatinderpal Singh, Panchayat Officer Sarpanch Paramjit Singh, and Panch members.
This time, SSP Mr Shubham Agarwal said that DGP Punjab Mr. Gaurav Yadav has instructed the Fatehgarh Sahib Police to fully eradicate drug traffickers. He said that although individuals engaged in the illegal drug trade are being apprehended and imprisoned, drug victims who are caught in the maze of addiction as a result of bad company are being admitted to rehabilitation facilities.

He reported that about ten unlawful buildings in the district that were constructed by drug smugglers utilizing proceeds from the illegal drug trade have been dismantled thus far. In order to ensure that no criminal may evade the law, he urged the public to give the police private information about drug smugglers via Safe Punjab or Helpline Number 112. He gave his word that the Police Administration will do all in its power to keep the informant’s name and address private.
According to SSP Mr. Shubham Agarwal, the inhabitant of Kotla Fazal village in Somnath has six separate drug trafficking cases filed against him and has a lengthy history of involvement in the drug trade. “The District Police is fully committed to taking the strictest possible action against drug smugglers in the future as well,” he said, adding that the Gramme Panchayat cooperated in today’s raid.
