Ludhiana Sunday’s intense rainstorm in Ludhiana caused major waterlogging, which disrupted daily life and caused mayhem. A wall collapsed on at least four parked automobiles, and water seeped into houses.

Ludhiana has had 246 mm of rain so far this month, which is 66% more than the typical amount. It hasn’t rained this much in August in the city since 2008.

Teams are working on the ground to remove the water from key areas, according to Aaditya Dachalwal, the municipal corporation commissioner. He claimed that because of their geographic location, some places are more vulnerable to waterlogging.
