Teams are working on the ground to remove the water from key areas, according to Aaditya Dachalwal, the municipal corporation commissioner. He claimed that because of their geographic location, some places are more vulnerable to waterlogging.

Deputy Commissioner Himanshu Jain has already assured the media that the ਸਰਕਾਰ is equipped to handle crises similar to floods. Officials and staff have been directed to keep a close eye on the Sutlej River.
