The statement made by ਪੰਜਾਬ Congress President and MP Amarinder Singh Raja Warring that former Union Home ਮੰਤਰੀ Buta Singh is “dark-skinned” (Kala) has caused a stir. Despite Warring’s apology, the situation is not improving. On the one hand, the ਪੰਜਾਬ SC/ST Commission has requested an answer from Warring by November 6 after taking suo motu notice. However, the Valmiki community have said that they will resist this in Jalandhar.
