Two Fraudsters Arrested in Jalandhar Were Running Fake Website: Fraud in the Name of Kisan Yojana (Farmer Scheme): Rajasthan Police Made the Arrest.
In Jalandhar, Punjab, a phoney website purporting to be the Manipur Kisan Yojana (Farmer Scheme) was being used to scam people. This website was run by three Rajasthani people close to the Jalandhar bus stop.
The Rajasthan Police had been in touch with Mohinder Singh, the In-Charge of the Jalandhar Bus Stand Police Post, about the issue.
They told him that someone had been arrested for constructing a phoney website in order to swindle farmers. This individual disclosed that the phoney website was being run close to the Jalandhar bus stop.

It was discovered that a phoney website running out of Jalandhar was being utilised to defraud farmers in Manipur. According to sources, these con artists were using the website to demand money from people under the guise of government initiatives.
The number of farmers these people have cheated and the amount of money they have made are being looked into by Rajasthan’s Jhalawar Police.

Police confirmed and made sure the arrest
Mohinder Singh, the In-Charge of the Jalandhar Bus Stand Police Post, confirmed with his team where the phoney website was operating based on information provided by the Rajasthan Police.
They summoned the Rajasthan Police and assisted in the raid after verifying the information, which resulted in the arrest of two further suspects.
