Truck Carrying Apples Overturns on National Highway in Jalandhar: Accident Caused by Tyre Burst, Was Travelling from Jammu to Rohtak.
A truck flipped on the National Highway close to Phillaur in Jalandhar today, Friday. It was carrying apples in Haryana from Jammu to Rohtak.
It happened close to Ramgarh Dhaba. According to reports, the truck overturned in the middle of the highway after its rear tyre blew. Three individuals were inside the truck at the time, according to truck driver Harish.
Thankfully, nobody was gravely hurt, and everyone was safely saved. According to the driver, he didn’t even have a chance to manage the car before the catastrophe occurred. Even though the vehicle was severely damaged, there was a period of confusion on the road.
The SSF team arrived and cleared the road.
The Road Safety Bal crew arrived at the scene right away after learning about the event. The Road Safety Force’s Jaswinder Singh and Sarbjit Singh acted quickly to relocate the centre-lane truck to the side of the road. After this, the highway traffic bottleneck was cleared up, and traffic flowed freely again.
According to the locals, the collision happened during the day, and the damage might have been more severe if the truck had hit another car.
The truck is now secured in a secure area, and the police have begun their investigation.
