In Fatehgarh Sahib, three college students perished in the Sirhind Bhakhra Canal. The report claims that one pupil fell into the canal after slipping while cleaning his hands. The river carried the other two kids away when they dove in to save him. The other two students, Honey Tyagi and Hasan Ansari, were reported missing and thought to be dead, but one of the three pupils, Pranav, was saved.
