Bassi Pathana, September 19:
New rural libraries have been constructed in the Bassi Pathana constituency’s villages of Mukaronpur and Naogawan as part of the Punjab government’s ongoing initiative, spearheaded by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, to create contemporary rural libraries in rural areas. MLA Rupinder Singh Happy presided over their inauguration. Speaking to the locals on the occasion, MLA Rupinder Singh Happy stated that everyone should visit the library to engage with books and that this is a significant step in fostering a book culture in the villages.

According to MLA Rupinder Singh Happy, books are a person’s third eye, enhancing their knowledge and sharpening their critical thinking skills. According to MLA Rupinder Singh Happy, there are numerous more initiatives underway to improve the villages in the Bassi Pathana constituency on all fronts, including the building of parks and sports stadiums. He claimed that we are gradually making progress towards our objective of providing productive activities to individuals of all ages.

Surinder Singh Dhaliwal, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Rural Development), who attended the event, stated that the government has constructed these cutting-edge rural libraries in a number of villages within the Fatehgarh Sahib district, which are advantageous to both the general public and students. He went on to say that more libraries of this type will be created and devoted to the villagers in the days ahead.
The local sarpanch, panch, and other dignitaries were also present, as was Block Development and Panchayat Officer Deepshikha.
