“Terrorist Pannun’s claim—Khalistani slogans written in Amritsar: Threatens blackout on Diwali, says those who gave Siropa to Rahul Gandhi and Waring-Oujla are targets.”
Sikhs for Justice (SFJ), an organization that supports Khalistan, has taken credit for a contentious incident that occurred in Amritsar. Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, the leader of the group, says he created anti-Gandhi slogans and had Khalistani ones spray-painted on the walls of the Amritsar district court building.
“Rahul Gandhi, Raja Waring, and MP Gurjeet Singh Oujla, who gave refuge to the murderers of 1984, are on our radar,” Pannun is heard stating in the video. The group has previously posted anti-Prime Minister Modi slogans at the Amritsar train station, according to the newspaper.

Additionally, the group posted anti-PM Modi slogans outside the Amritsar train station. They would conduct a “blackout from Ayodhya to Haridwar” on the forthcoming Diwali, according to Pannun.
According to Pannun, they will make a program that is meant to be illuminated by 26 lakh black diyas (earthen lamps). Additionally, Pannun claimed that he targets Ayodhya and Diwali because he views them as emblems of “Hindutva terrorism.”
Security Agencies Alert: “Punjab Police and security agencies are on high alert following this event. Amritsar’s security has been stepped up, and a probe has begun. The actions of SFJ have sparked a strong response from social and political spheres.

Who is Gurpatwant Pannu, the terrorist?
Pannu is speaking out in favour of Khalistan: “Pannu has been highly active since the killing of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Canada. He frequently delivers anti-national speeches and pens pro-terrorist slogans in the nation’s cities. During the G20 conference, he also wrote Khalistan slogans at metro stations in Delhi. However, he was ultimately apprehended by several Punjabi individuals who had penned those slogans. In 2020, Pannu was designated a terrorist: “In 2019, the Indian government banned Pannu’s group, SFJ, under the Unlawful Operations Prevention Act (UAPA) on suspicion of conducting terrorist operations. Under the pretence of a referendum, Pannu is promoting separatist and extremist ideology in Punjab, according to the Ministry of Home Affairs’ statement.
