Following the recovery, a thorough investigation is being carried out by the Batala police. It is evident from this operation that terrorist groups intended to carry out a significant incident in Punjab, but the police stopped their intentions in their tracks by exercising vigilance.
Arrest of One Suspect
All of the explosives were found by police in the Batala village of Balapur. One suspect has been taken into custody thus far, and efforts are underway to apprehend a second, fugitive accomplice. The entire scheme was obviously planned from the other side of the border.
The police are now working to determine how many people in Punjab were involved in this conspiracy, how the explosives were intended to be used, and how many individuals have been involved in this network so far.
