Teachers’ protest at Jagran’s DAV College in Ludhiana: Police entered the college, Principal said – took the gym equipment.
The suspension of a physical education teacher has sparked a protest by the teachers of P.C.C.T.U.L.R. DAV College in Jagraon, Ludhiana. Dr. Parvinder Singh, the college principal, was abruptly suspended.
The removal of the gym equipment was cited as the cause of the suspension. Dr. Parvinder Singh Bajwa kept contacting the principal to request an examination of the apparatus. The principal, however, suspended him without looking into his stock.
The teaching staff has chosen to abstain from all administrative responsibilities in protest of this action.
The principal will also be socially boycotted. They are calling for the suspension order to be lifted right away and for future adherence to the regulations. The City Police Station has arrived at the college in light of the circumstances. This is to avoid any disagreements within the college. The purpose of the police is to maintain order in the hostile environment.
