- The deceased was identified as Rajandeep Singh, a Jalalabad native and son of Narinderpal Singh, who was about 22 years old.
- Drug Addiction: Family members claim that Rajandeep Singh has had a drug addiction for the previous four to five years.
- Time of Incident: One of his pals called him out of the house and took him away yesterday morning at around eleven in the morning.
- Report of Death: His acquaintance called the family to let them know that Rajandeep Singh had injected drugs and was discovered lying along a canal near Cheema Bath hamlet.
- Doctors’ Declaration: After family members transported him to the hospital for treatment, the medical staff pronounced him dead.
