Superstar Dharmendra Passes Away at 89: Bollywood’s He-Man is No More.
For Hindi movies, Monday turned out to be a really depressing day. At the age of 89, “He-Man” and seasoned Bollywood actor Dharmendra passed away.
He has long struggled with age-related ailments. After recuperating, he was recently released from Breach Candy Hospital. However, on Monday afternoon, his condition abruptly declined, and he passed away at home.

His home, “Sunny Villa,” was the scene of increased activity on Monday afternoon when an ambulance was unexpectedly sighted arriving. The whole film industry is in mourning at the devastating news, and fans are honoring their favorite celebrity.
Traveling from a Village in Punjab to Mumbai
Born in the Punjabi town of Nasrali on December 8, 1935, Dharmendra went on to become one of Bollywood’s biggest performers. He performed in more than 300 films during his illustrious career, demonstrating his skill in Punjabi and Hindi cinema. Audiences of all ages embraced him with love and respect.
The final movie, “Ikkis,” will be released on December 25.
Dharmendra is no longer with us, but his films will live on. Interestingly, his last movie, “Ikkis,” is slated to open in theaters on December 25 of this year.
He will play Agastya Nanda’s (Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson) father in this movie. The film is based on the life of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal, an India-Pakistan war hero from 1971.
