Sukhbir Badal sends 100 trucks of fodder to flood victims: Relief for livestock owners in Patiala, Jalandhar, and Kapurthala, and appeals to the government for help.
Sukhbir Singh Badal, the president of the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) and a former deputy chief minister, sent 100 trucks of fodder from Pind Dugari today to help livestock owners in the districts of Patiala, Jalandhar, and Kapurthala that have been impacted by flooding.
According to Sukhbir Badal, the farmers who are experiencing a scarcity of animal feed as a result of the floods will benefit from this assistance. According to him, the second shipment of the 500 trucks of fodder that the Shiromani Akali Dal had promised to supply has been sent out today.
Sukhbir Badal stated that this assistance is only the beginning and that the Akali Dal always supports the people of Punjab in times of need. He promised to send more assistance if necessary. According to Badal, the floods have severely damaged a number of Punjabi areas. Homes, fields, and particularly cattle have been badly impacted.
