Students will once again study in the cowshed built during the floods in Amritsar: MLA cleans it with his daughter; Schools in flood-affected areas to open from Tuesday.
In Amritsar’s Ajnala area, which has been impacted by the recent floods, cleanup and repair efforts are moving swiftly. Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal, a former cabinet minister and MLA, assisted in cleaning a government school with his daughter Aman Dhaliwal. Yesterday, DC Sakshi Sahni issued directives stating that schools in the regions affected by the flood would reopen as usual on Tuesday.

A cowshed had to be temporarily moved to this school due to the floods, which caused a lot of dirt to spread around the campus. Following this, her brother lost his temper and used the baseball bat that was in the house to attack Kiran. Kiran suffered severe injuries when she raised her hands in self-defence. When the mother attempted to step in, she was also not spared. Family members have brought the injured mother and daughter to the hospital, where they are presently undergoing treatment.
