Student Union Elections in Chandigarh’s PU.

The Model Code of Conduct will be put into effect, and elections will take place in 11 institutions as part of the September 3 Student Union Elections in Chandigarh’s PU. The nomination process will start on August 27.

On September 3, Panjab University in Chandigarh and eleven city institutions will hold their student union elections. On August 27, the nominating process will start. At a news conference held at the Punjab University Student Centre, DSW Professor Amit Chauhan provided this information.

Car parades on the PU campus are now strictly prohibited. Furthermore, without a sticker, no car will be permitted to enter the campus. The Model Code of Conduct has also been put into effect by the university administration. No protest of any kind will be allowed on campus going forward.

Election Schedule for the Punjab University Student Union

27 August

The nomination process will take held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.

At 10:35 AM, the nomination papers will be examined.

12:00 PM: The corresponding departments will display the preliminary list of candidates.

You can file an objection between 12:30 and 1:30 PM.

August 28

10:00 AM: The list of candidates running for office will be made public.

Name withdrawal will be conducted from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM.

The final candidate list will be made public at 2:30 PM.

September 3

  • 9:30 AM: Voting will take place.
