Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargaj, the acting Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht and Jathedar of Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib, along with Baba Tek Singh, Jathedar of Takht Sri Damdama Sahib, officially started a new religious campaign called “Khuaar Hoye Sabh Milenge” today. The launch took place at Gurdwara Janam Asthan Bhai Jeevan Singh in Gaggo Mahal village, located in the Ajnala area of Amritsar.
This campaign, started by the Dharam Parchar Committee of the SGPC (Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee), is supported by Sri Akal Takht, the highest Sikh authority.
At the event, a special religious gathering (Gurmat Samagam) was held. Different groups like Raagis (singers of Gurbani), Dhadi jathas (balladeers), and Kavishars (poetry orators) shared Sikh teachings and history with the Sangat (gathering). Jathedar Gargaj himself led the Ardas (prayer).
Jathedar Gargaj said the goal of the campaign is to spread the message of Sikhism in Punjab and across India. He said the campaign will focus on stopping religious conversions and bringing unity among Sikhs. Events will be organized throughout the year to spiritually uplift families through Gurbani and Sikh teachings (Gurmat).
He also said he will personally visit gurdwaras to preach about Sikh values and warned against anti-Sikh Deras, calling them a big threat to the Sikh community.
The campaign’s message is about hope, unity, and reconnecting people with Sikhi.
