A video featuring Manish Sisodia, the former deputy chief minister of Delhi and the Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) in-charge of Punjab, has sparked controversy. He stated that they will stop at nothing to win the 2027 elections at a workshop for women’s wings that was held in Mohali on August 13. AAP has also posted this video to its social media pages. Sisodia is heard saying in the video, “With all the work, the entire AAP women’s team will knock on doors. Winning the 2027 elections is the women’s wing’s true objective. We will do whatever it takes to win the 2027 elections, including truth-falsehood, connection-answer, fighting-bickering, saam, daam, dand, and bhed (diplomacy, money, punishment, and division). Are you all set?
Aman Arora, the state president of the AAP, and Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann also attended. Sisodia’s statement is followed by a laugh from Bhagwant Mann, who is seated in his chair and looks at Aman Arora. The Aam Aadmi Party has been cornered by opposition leaders since this video went viral. Sukhbir Badal, the former deputy chief minister and president of the Akali Dal, has requested that the Election Commission act. Additionally, he insisted that Sisodia’s bail be revoked. “This is not Delhi,” stated Amarinder Raja Warring, MP and president of the Punjab Congress, “and Punjabis will grind them to dust.” According to Congress MLA Pargat Singh, the AAP’s goals pose a threat to a delicate state like Punjab.

Women will travel from village to village in teams. Manish Sisodia stated during the programme that ward and block-level appointments will be made for the women’s wing. They will then receive training. Every female leader will work in wards and villages. In each village, she will assemble a group of 20–20 women and train them.
