Punjab to Hold Statewide Events for 350th Martyrdom Day of Guru Teg Bahadur

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will lead a group of ministers to make sure all events are held smoothly for the 350th martyrdom day of Guru Teg Bahadur, the ninth Sikh Guru.

The decision was made during a meeting held at the Chief Minister’s official residence on Wednesday. CM Mann said that Guru Teg Bahadur’s sacrifice was a symbol of the fight against tyranny and oppression, and that he gave his life to protect freedom of religion and human values.

The Chief Minister added that the state government is committed to organising a series of events across Punjab to mark this important occasion in a grand and respectful way.
