ਪੰਜਾਬ Man Held for Fake ਮੌਤ Threat Call About Actor Tiger Shroff

A 35-year-old man from ਪੰਜਾਬ has been arrested for giving false information to the Mumbai ਪੁਲਿਸ about a ਮੌਤ threat to Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff, a ਪੁਲਿਸ official said on Tuesday.

The man, identified as Manish Kumar Sujinder Singh, had called the Mumbai ਪੁਲਿਸ control room on Monday. He claimed that a weapon and a contract (or “supari”) worth ₹2 lakh had been given to some ਲੋਕ to kill Tiger Shroff.

ਪੁਲਿਸ took the threat seriously and launched an investigation. However, they soon found that the information was fake. A case was then registered at the Khar ਪੁਲਿਸ station in Mumbai.

Mumbai ਪੁਲਿਸ contacted ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲਿਸ, who detained the man. He is now being brought to Mumbai for further questioning.

In a similar case last week, Bollywood actor Salman Khan received a threat from a man said to be “mentally unstable” from Gujarat’s Vadodara ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ. That message was sent to the Mumbai Traffic ਪੁਲਿਸ via WhatsApp.

ਪੁਲਿਸ have warned that making fake threat calls is a serious offense and will not be taken lightly.
