ਪੰਜਾਬ Launches ਭਾਰਤ’s First ‘Easy Registration’ System for Hassle-Free Property Registration

In a major step towards simplifying property transactions, ਪੰਜਾਬ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ Bhagwant Singh Mann and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convener Arvind Kejriwal ਅੱਜ launched ਭਾਰਤ’s first “Easy Registration” system. The initiative aims to eliminate the need for middlemen, reduce delays, and bring full transparency to the property registration process.

Speaking at the launch, the leaders said the system would be implemented across the state starting August 1. The move is designed to make the sale and purchase of property quicker, easier, and more accessible for everyone—especially rural residents, senior citizens, working professionals, and ਲੋਕ with limited mobility.

Key Features of the Easy Registration System:

– No More Middlemen: Citizens can now handle the entire process themselves through their phones, cutting out agents and long queues.

Any Office Access:Property can be registered at any Sub Registrar Office within the ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ, not just where it’s located.

Doorstep Services via 1076: Seva Sahayaks will provide support at home for document collection and assistance.

Real-Time Updates:Citizens will receive WhatsApp notifications at every stage—submission, approval, payment, and appointment.

Online Tools and Payment:Users can draft their own deeds using the “Draft My Deed” tool, calculate fees online, and make all payments through a single digital gateway—no need for bank visits or demand drafts.

48-Hour Pre-Scrutiny Guarantee: Online documents will be pre-checked within 48 hours to avoid last-minute issues.

No Hidden Costs:ਸਰਕਾਰ-approved rate calculators help citizens plan finances in advance, avoiding surprise charges.

The CM emphasized that the system was first successfully implemented in Mohali and will now be rolled out across ਪੰਜਾਬ. “This isn’t just a digital upgrade; it’s a complete change in the experience—transparent, time-saving, and stress-free,” said CM Mann.

The platform also features a unique WhatsApp-based corruption reporting system, allowing citizens to raise concerns if faced with unofficial demands.

“This system empowers ਲੋਕ, promotes transparency, and ends the culture of dependency on agents,” added Kejriwal.
