In view of elections of the Legislative Assembly of the UT of Jammu and Kashmir, the ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ declared paid holiday on 25th September, 2024 and 1st October 2024.
Disclosing this here ਅੱਜ, an official spokesperson of ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ said that in case any officer/employee is a voter in the voter list of Legislative Assembly of the UT of Jammu and Kashmir and is working in the ਸਰਕਾਰ Offices/Boards/Corporations and ਸਰਕਾਰ Educational Institutions of the ਪੰਜਾਬ State, then he/she would be eligible for availing special holiday on 25th September, 2024 and 1st October 2024 (as per the phase of voting) from the competent authority by presenting their voter identity card. This holiday won’t be deducted from the leave account of the officer/employee.
