Punjab Congress Chief Says AAP Is Falling Apart as Leaders Quit

Punjab Congress president Amrinder Singh Raja Warring said on Saturday that the ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is on the verge of collapse. He claimed that many AAP leaders are planning to leave the party in the coming days.

Warring was reacting to the recent resignation of Kharar MLA Anmol Gagan Mann, who announced she is quitting politics. He said she is the second AAP leader to leave the party in less than a month. Earlier, former Ropar MLA Amarjit Singh Sandoa was expelled.

Warring also questioned Anmol’s sudden decision, saying that just three days ago, she met AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal and praised him for inspiring her. “What happened to that courage and inspiration in just three days?” he asked.

He pointed out that earlier this month, AAP also suspended its Amritsar North MLA Kunwar Vijay Pratap Singh.

Warring said the way MLAs are either quitting or being forced to quit shows that AAP’s downfall has started faster than expected.
