ਪੰਜਾਬ Congress President Amarinder Singh Raja Warring has criticized the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) ਸਰਕਾਰ for claiming it is fighting against drugs. He said the AAP is trying to fool ਲੋਕ with false appearances, especially when ਪੰਜਾਬ is still mourning the recent hooch tragedy in Majitha that killed 27 ਲੋਕ.
Warring questioned ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ Bhagwant Mann and AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal’s statements at a recent event. He asked what kind of war on drugs they were talking about when ਲੋਕ are dying from fake liquor and drug overdoses.
He said, “Even before the funeral pyres of those 27 ਲੋਕ have cooled, you are celebrating a lost war.” He accused AAP of creating an “optical illusion” to show they are fighting drugs.
Warring also referred to AAP MLA and former ਪੁਲਿਸ officer Kunwar Vijay Pratap Singh, who reportedly said that some AAP leaders are involved in the fake liquor business. He advised AAP leaders to first listen to their own MLA before blaming others for supporting drug mafias.
