Due to rising tensions with Pakistan, the Punjab Cabinet will meet today at 11 am to check the state’s emergency services. The Cabinet will review the readiness of hospitals, fire stations, and the availability of food supplies across the state.
After the meeting, ten ministers will immediately visit the six border districts to inspect the situation and ensure all emergency arrangements are in place.
According to an official from the Chief Minister’s Office, Ministers Lalchand Kataruchak and Dr. Ravjot Singh will visit Gurdaspur. Kuldeep Dhaliwal and Mohinder Bhagat will go to Amritsar. Laljit Bhullar and Harbhajan Singh ETO will reach Tarn Taran. Hardeep Mundian and Gurmeet Singh Khudian will oversee Ferozepur, while Dr. Baljit Kaur and Tarunpreet Sondh will handle Fazilka.
The ministers will make sure that all necessary services and supplies are ready in case of any emergency.
