November 17, 2025, Chandigarh: ਅੱਜ (Monday), passengers on Punjabi ਸਰਕਾਰ buses may experience significant inconveniences. ਪੰਜਾਬ Roadways, Punbus, and PRTC contract workers have declared a “complete bus strike” (Chakka Jam) that will begin at 12:00 PM ਅੱਜ. In protest of the “privatization” of the Transport Department and the introduction of private buses under the “Kilometer Scheme,” this strike is taking place throughout ਪੰਜਾਬ.
