Prof. Chandumajra Demands the New Patiala Bus Stand Be Named After Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji.

Prof. Prem Singh Chandumajra, a former member of parliament and senior leader of the Shiromani Akali Dal Punar Surjit, today urged the Punjab government to dedicate the newly built bus stop in Patiala to the 350th Martyrdom Day of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji, the Ninth Guru.

The new Patiala bus stop has not yet been given a name, according to Prof. Chandumajra. He emphasized that the bus stop should be named after Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji since Patiala is a land blessed by the touch of his feet (charan chhoh prapat dharti).

Chandumajra expressed optimism that the state administration, acting on behalf of all Nanak Nam Leva Sangat (followers of Guru Nanak’s name), will promptly declare the name and dedicate it to the 350th Martyrdom Day of the Guru Sahib.
