Prime ਮੰਤਰੀ Narendra Modi said that ਭਾਰਤ’s space journey is not about competing with other countries, but about working together for the good of everyone. He spoke through a video message at the 12th Global Space Exploration Conference (GLEX) 2025.
Modi said space is more than just a destination — it shows our curiosity, courage, and progress together. He talked about ਭਾਰਤ’s journey from launching its first rocket in 1963 to landing near the Moon’s south pole. He also mentioned ਭਾਰਤ’s success in reaching Mars in its first attempt in 2014 and building cryogenic engines quickly.
The Prime ਮੰਤਰੀ said ਭਾਰਤ is moving forward with new confidence in space science. He talked about ਭਾਰਤ’s first human space mission, Gaganyaan. In a few weeks, an Indian astronaut will go to the International Space Station with help from NASA and ISRO.
Modi also shared ਭਾਰਤ’s future space plans. By 2035, ਭਾਰਤ will have its own space station called the Bharatiya Antariksha Station. By 2040, an Indian astronaut will land on the Moon. ਭਾਰਤ also plans to explore Mars and Venus in the future.
Union ਮੰਤਰੀ Jitendra Singh added that ਭਾਰਤ has 290 partnerships with over 60 countries. He said ਭਾਰਤ’s space economy is worth \$8 billion and growing quickly.
