Prime ਮੰਤਰੀ Narendra Modi has said that Operation Sindoor is a new policy of ਭਾਰਤ to deal with terrorism. He made these strong comments after the success of the operation, which happened on May 7.
The Prime ਮੰਤਰੀ said that terrorists in Pakistan now know the cost of attacking ਭਾਰਤ, especially when they harm Indian women and families. He said the operation was a promise of justice to the country.
PM Modi made it clear that ਭਾਰਤ will only talk to Pakistan about two things — terrorism and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). He said that talks and terrorism cannot go together, just like blood and water cannot flow together, referring to ਭਾਰਤ’s suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty with Pakistan.
He praised the Indian armed forces, BSF, and paramilitary for their bravery. The PM said ਭਾਰਤ has changed its way of responding to terror attacks. He listed three points of this new approach:
- Terror attacks will get a strong reply on ਭਾਰਤ’s terms.
- ਭਾਰਤ will not be scared by nuclear threats.
- ਭਾਰਤ will treat those who support terrorism and terrorists in the same way.
PM Modi said Operation Sindoor exposed Pakistan’s support for terrorism, showing how Pakistani army officers said goodbye to top terrorists. He added that ਭਾਰਤ will now bring this evidence to the United Nations Security Council.
Talking about what happened after May 7, the PM said ਭਾਰਤ’s military actions hurt Pakistan badly. On May 10, Pakistan’s army requested ਭਾਰਤ to stop the attacks. By that time, ਭਾਰਤ had destroyed many terrorist camps and killed over 100 dangerous terrorists.
Modi said ਭਾਰਤ agreed to pause the attacks only after Pakistan promised to stop all terror and military actions. But he warned that ਭਾਰਤ is watching Pakistan closely, and will act again if needed.
He repeated his famous line, “This is not an era of war,” and added, “This is also not an era of terrorism.” He said zero tolerance for terrorism is the way to a better world.
PM Modi also praised ਭਾਰਤ’s military power and the success of Made-in-ਭਾਰਤ weapons used during Operation Sindoor. He said this operation showed how strong and united ਭਾਰਤ is, and that the attack on Pahalgam was aimed at breaking ਭਾਰਤ’s peace, but it failed.
In the end, he said ਭਾਰਤ’s unity and strength led to bold decisions and big results. He added, “The road to peace is through strength. We showed that strength in Operation Sindoor.”
