PM Modi Calls Operation Sindoor a Symbol of New India’s Strength and Resolve

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that Operation Sindoor was not just a military action, but a symbol of a changing and stronger India. He made these remarks during his monthly radio program Mann Ki Baat on Sunday.

Modi said the operation showed India’s courage, determination, and growing power on the world stage. He added that the entire country is united against terrorism and filled with strength and anger against such threats.

He praised the Indian forces for the precise and brave execution of the operation across the border, calling it “extraordinary.” According to Modi, Operation Sindoor gave new energy to the global fight against terrorism and showed India’s clear and strong stand.

The Prime Minister also spoke about the emotional and patriotic response from people after the operation. He said that people expressed their love for the armed forces through poems, paintings, and patriotic rallies like the Tiranga Yatra.

Modi shared that in some places, like Katihar and Kushinagar, families even named their newborns “Sindoor” to honor the operation. He also mentioned receiving children’s paintings in Bikaner as a tribute.

He gave credit to India’s self-reliant defence system for the mission’s success, saying it reflected the spirit of Aatmanirbhar Bharat (self-reliant India). Modi highlighted that the weapons, equipment, and technology used were made in India.

He concluded by saying that this victory belongs to every citizen — including engineers and workers — and it has boosted the Vocal for Local movement, encouraging people to support Indian-made products.
