The Punjab government is working to find jobs for job seekers, according to Major (Retd.) Harpreet Singh Manshahia, Deputy Director of Employment Generation, Skill Development, and Training at DBEESAS Nagar. The Punjab government’s Model Career Centre and District Employment and Business Bureau are hosting a placement camp at S.A.S. Nagar as part of this project. The camp will take place at Mohali, S.A.S. Nagar, at Village Gobindgarh, next to the Government School and the Naina Devi Temple.

According to additional details, the placement camp would be conducted at Village Gobindgarh, Naina Devi Temple, close to Government School, Mohali, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Shorea E. Solutions, D.Mart, Digitech Call System, Protax Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Aerial Telecom Solutions, V-5 Global, Axis Bank, Swiggy Limited, LIC, HR Sourcing Yoma Limited, Blinkit, and Tynor Orthotics Pvt. are among the companies taking part in this placement camp. Ltd. Civil Engineer, Welder, Sheet Metal Fabricator, Panel Wireman, General Electrician, Packer, Cashier, Sales Associate, Godown Assistant, Customer Support, Hiring for Voice Process, Voice, Commission-Based Insurance Agent, Picker and Operator, and Helper are among the jobs they will be hiring for. Depending on the business, chosen individuals will earn between ₹12,000 and ₹35,000.
