Joint CEO ਪੰਜਾਬ Inspects EVM/VVPAT Warehouse in Mohali
SAS Nagar, 29 September: PCS carried out the quarterly inspection of the EVM/VVPAT warehouse at the ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ Administrative Complex, SAS Nagar, in accordance with the directives of the Election Commission of ਭਾਰਤ and the direction of CEO ਪੰਜਾਬ, Sh Cibin C. IAS, and the Joint ਮੁੱਖ Electoral Officer ਪੰਜਾਬ, Sakatar Singh Bal.
Ms Geetika Singh, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General), Sanjay Kumar, Tehsildar, ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ Election Office, SAS Nagar, and other employees were present at the inspection ਅੱਜ.
To guarantee total openness of the process, representatives of several political parties were also present during the inspection, including the Indian National Congress (INC), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD), and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
According to the joint CEO, the purpose of the inspection was to confirm that election-related materials were properly maintained and secured in accordance with the Election Commission of ਭਾਰਤ’s recommendations. The Joint CEO underlined the significance of following the guidelines and upholding the highest level of transparency in all election-related operations.
