Pakistani troops have once again broken the ceasefire agreement by firing without any reason along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch and Kupwara districts, according to Indian Army officials.
For the fourth night in a row, the Pakistan Army opened fire at the LoC. Officials said that on the night of April 27-28, Pakistani posts started firing with small arms at areas near Kupwara and Poonch.
The Indian Army reacted quickly and strongly to the firing.
In the past few days, most of the ceasefire violations have happened in the Kashmir region.
This is the first time firing has been reported in the Jammu region after the recent terror attack in Pahalgam.
