Over 600 Grievances Resolved in Six Months Through Online NRI Milnees: Kuldeep Dhaliwal

During the sixth edition of the monthly online NRI Milnee held in Amritsar, Punjab’s NRI Affairs Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal announced that more than 600 complaints submitted by NRI Punjabis have been successfully resolved through these virtual meetings.

Speaking at the session, Dhaliwal said that the government received 123 fresh complaints from NRI Punjabis across the globe during today’s Milnee. He assured that all of them would be addressed before the next meeting scheduled in June.

He highlighted that a total of 658 complaints have been received over the past six months, out of which only 51 remain pending due to court proceedings. All other cases have been resolved, marking significant progress in addressing the concerns of the Punjabi diaspora.

Dhaliwal emphasized the state government’s commitment to resolving the issues of NRIs and encouraged them to continue using the platform of monthly Milnees to raise their concerns. He added that it brings him both pride and satisfaction to help resolve these matters.

Senior officials including DIG NRI Affairs Rajpal Singh Sandhu, AIG Jagjit Singh Walia, AIG Ajinder Singh from the NRI Wing of Punjab Police, and District Revenue Officer Navkirat Singh were present during the meeting, along with other officials.
