Operation Sindoor: India Strikes Terror Camps, Acts with Precision and Care

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said on Wednesday that India destroyed nine terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir with full planning and accuracy. These strikes were part of “Operation Sindoor,” carried out in response to the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir, where 26 civilians were killed.

Singh said India has the right to respond when attacked and that this action was taken with great care and thought. “We only targeted those who killed our innocent people,” he said during the launch of 50 new infrastructure projects by the Border Roads Organisation.

He added that the strikes were done only on terrorist camps and not in areas where common people live, showing the army’s sensitivity. The aim was to lower the morale of the terrorists without harming civilians.

“Our armed forces acted with precision, alertness, and responsibility,” Singh said, praising their bravery and discipline in carrying out the mission.
