Oil marketing companies have announced a price reduction of Rs 41 for 19 kg commercial LPG cylinders, effective from Tuesday. In Delhi, the new price for a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder is Rs 1762.
Earlier this year, on February 1, the price was reduced by Rs 7. However, domestic LPG cylinder prices, which are used for household cooking, have not changed in this revision.
In December, oil companies had increased the price of the 19 kg commercial LPG cylinders by Rs 62. These price changes are part of ongoing adjustments based on global crude oil rates and other factors.
The latest price cut will benefit commercial establishments such as restaurants and hotels, which rely on LPG for their daily operations. Although the reduction in prices is small, it will still provide some relief to businesses using commercial LPG. LPG prices vary by state due to local taxes and transportation costs.
