Nothing Ear Open Features
Let’s talk about the design of the Ear Open and it is open and goes over the ear. The form factor has recently become a trend in the market, and we saw Sony launch its own version. The biggest change with the Ear Open is that you don’t get active noise cancellation (ANC) which might sound absurd for the price tag, but that’s how the design works. It gets IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance, making it ideal for workouts and running.
The earbuds have a curved stem that sits behind the ear and comes equipped with a 12.4mm dynamic driver. Each earbud weighs just 8.1 grams which means you can wear it for long hours.
The earbuds support Bluetooth 5.3 for connectivity and you get compatibility for AAC and SBC codecs. You can quickly pair the Ear Open with your phone or laptop via Swift Pair and Google Fast Pair. You can activate more features through the Nothing X app. The brand claims you can get the Ear Open to last for around 8 hours of music playback and 30 hours with the bundled case.
