Nitish Kumar to take oath as CM of Bihar for the 10th time today; PM Modi and CMs of 11 States to attend.


Today, Bihar’s political history is about to enter a new chapter. Today (Thursday), Nitish Kumar, the leader of Janata Dal United (JD-U), will take the oath of office as the state’s chief minister for the tenth time.

The ancient Gandhi Maidan in the capital city of Patna will host the major oath-taking ceremony, which will be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and the chief ministers of eleven states. The ceremony will start at 11:30 AM, and Nitish will be sworn in alongside a number of other NDA alliance ministers.

At 10:45 AM, Prime Minister Modi will take a chopper straight to Gandhi Maidan. This “Mega Show” will feature chief ministers from sixteen states, including Yogi Adityanath of Uttar Pradesh, Mohan Yadav of MP, Bhajanlal Sharma of Rajasthan, and Devendra Fadnavis of Maharashtra.
