Newborn Baby Thrown on Thorns in Amritsar: Rescued by Locals After Hearing Cries, Who Said They Searched All Night for Treatment.
A newborn has been brought to the intensive care unit after being discovered sleeping amid thorns.
On Amritsar’s Bhai Manjpur Road, a newborn baby was discovered. The baby’s cries late at night alerted the locals to the situation. After that, Paramjit Kaur and her family demonstrated compassion by picking up the infant and taking them to the hospital right away for care.
The family claims that they spent the entire night travelling to various hospitals with the infant, but they were unable to receive care in time. The infant was subsequently brought to a hospital, where they are presently receiving treatment in the intensive care unit.
Launch of an Investigation
According to local resident Gursewak Singh, also known as Mani Singh, the baby was discovered wrapped in thorns and lying on a plate. Nobody was brave enough to pick up the baby at first. Additionally, he claimed that a woman from a nearby family is being suspected of perhaps abandoning the infant.
After learning about the event, a police squad arrived on the scene. According to Police Officer Sulkhan Singh, an inquiry has been started and information is being gathered from all relevant sources. In addition to analyzing CCTV footage, the police are questioning nearby residents.
The police have declared that the perpetrator of this cruel conduct will face severe consequences.
