Cricketer-turned-politician Navjot Singh Sidhu has launched a new YouTube channel called NavjotSidhuOfficial, saying it will focus only on his personal life and not politics.
He said the channel will share stories from his cricket career, his life journey, thoughts on spirituality, health, lifestyle, comedy, and motivation. Sidhu explained, “This is about who I really am – not a politician, but a human being.”
He also launched new Instagram and social media pages with the message, “The whole world is my family, all mankind my brethren. To spread happiness and do good is my religion.”
Sidhu’s daughter Rabia Sidhu is helping produce the channel. She said the content will show Sidhu’s personal side, including his famous one-liners, which he gets from long hours of meditation, his diet plan, and unique style.
His team said the first videos will talk about his cricket experiences and later include motivational talks and health tips. Although Sidhu has been away from active politics, he said, “Only time will tell about my political future,” and confirmed his wife, Dr. Navjot Kaur Sidhu, will continue in politics.
The Congress party has recently replaced Sidhu as in-charge of the Amritsar East constituency with Jasbir Singh Dhimpa.
