Murder of a woman from America in Ludhiana:Cheated of lakhs on the pretext of marriage, later strangled; one accused arrested.
A 71-year-old American citizen of Indian descent named Rupinder Kaur Pandher was killed close to the Kila Raipur hamlet in Ludhiana. Although the incident happened at the end of July, it was just recently made public. The primary suspect has been arrested by police.
Rupinder Kaur has spent many years in America after getting divorced. She was killed by strangulation, according to reports. Someone who resides in England and has been in contact with the woman for a long time came up with the plot to kill her. The police are working to find a swift solution to this matter.
Search for Skeletal Remains
The police are obtaining additional evidence in this case, according to ACP Harjinder Singh Gill. This includes an effort to locate the skeletal remains of Rupinder Kaur. Sukhjit Singh Sonu, the primary suspect and a resident of Mallah Patti, Kila Raipur, has admitted to killing Rupinder Kaur. “This conspiracy was orchestrated under the guise of marriage,” he claimed.
The plan was to embezzle funds.
Sources claim that the defendants planned to defraud Rupinder Kaur out of thousands of rupees. Rupinder Kaur had transferred substantial sums of money to the accused Sonu and his brother’s accounts.
Sonu and his accomplice planned and executed the murder, according to a status report that SHO Sukhjinder Singh gave. Other suspects are probably going to be arrested shortly as a result of the police’s thorough investigation into the case.
