Missile Parts Found in Amritsar Village Amid India-Pakistan Tension, No Damage Reported

After Indian forces attacked terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, panic spread in Jethuwal village near Amritsar early Thursday morning. Villagers found parts of a missile scattered in fields and near houses around 1:30 am.

Thankfully, there was no damage to life or property. Villagers said they did not hear any blast in the area.

A 5-feet-long missile part was found in the fields of Baldev Singh and Makhan Singh. Police said it’s still not clear if the missile was from India or Pakistan.

Amritsar Rural SSP Maninder Singh said there was no explosion or impact on the ground. The missile part was just found lying in the field. Police and forensic teams are checking it, and Army officials have also been informed.

At the same time, three loud explosion sounds were heard in Amritsar city, which caused fear among people. The district officials quickly told the public not to panic and said the blackout drill had started again. Police Commissioner Gurpreet Singh Bhullar said that though loud noises were heard, no damage was reported in the city.
