Ministers/Officials Arrive at Chandigarh Airport to Welcome World Champion Daughters: Amanjot-Harleen Arriving in City, Were also Part of the World Cup Winning Team, Family Present.


Amanjot Kaur and Harleen Deol, two members of the Indian Women’s Cricket World Cup team, are travelling to Chandigarh today. At Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh Airport, the Punjab government will extend a hearty welcome to them.

Family members of both female players have arrived at the airport to greet the players. Meet Hayer. Mohali Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal and Finance Minister Harpal Cheema have also arrived from the Punjab government.

Finance Minister Harpal Cheema, Meet Hayer, Mohali Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal, and the families of both female players have arrived at the airport to greet the players. Through a video chat, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann personally congratulated the World Cup-winning squad members and commended the team’s collective efforts. Captain Harmanpreet Kaur, Amanjot Kaur, and fielding coach Munish Bali will soon be honoured by the Punjab Cricket Association. Coach Munish Bali will receive a financial prize of ₹5 lakh, while these players will receive ₹11-11 lakh.

PM was questioned regarding his skincare regimen.

PM Narendra Modi met with the World Cup team. PM and the players had a talk during this time. “Sir, I want to ask about your skincare routine; you glow so much, sir,” Harleen Deol said to PM. In response, the PM said, “I have never paid much attention to this subject.”
