• Request Assistance from Youth Clubs, Gramme Panchayats, and Social Workers
Bassi Pathana, September 1:
Several districts in Punjab have experienced flooding as a result of the recent heavy rains in the hilly terrain. Relief activities are being carried out day and night by the entire government and Aam Aadmi Party volunteers, led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann. It is admirable that social groups and representatives from different communities have volunteered to assist with relief and reconstruction efforts at this trying period.

said by MLA Rupinder Singh Happy, who was meeting with a Bassi Pathana Truck Operators Social and Welfare Society delegation today.
According to MLA Happy, the truck drivers have donated ₹21,000 to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund as a humanitarian gesture. He urged the constituency’s youth clubs, gram panchayats, and social workers to step forward and assist, and he commended the volunteer effort made by the union office-bearers. In order to guarantee a substantial contribution to aiding those in need during this trying time, MLA Rupinder Singh Happy stated that the aid he received from social workers here would be distributed to the poor. He himself had just returned from helping with relief efforts in the districts affected by the floods.
